In 1986 the company sets another milestone with the development of the first catalytic converter for motor cycles by Ing. Otto Kresch. 
 
In spring 1998 the plant moves from Köflach to the nearby situated Voitsberg and the newly built SEBRING Technology Centre, equipped with ultra modern production facilities was opened.
The expansive course continued and in 2002 one of the most modern research and development centres worldwide was opened focusing mainly on sound design.
 
Further expansions, the investment into latest processing technologies and into an excellently trained staff were the reasons why SEBRING evolved from a renowned sport exhaust manufacturer to a competent partner in the automotive industry. Car manufacturers like  for example Daimler Chrysler, Opel, Porsche, Buell are among its customers.
